The Jump

So first off, I just want to be very transparent into all things we do here at J3 Lawns LLC. I want you to be able to read some of the stories we come across on our daily routines. Hopefully, to all of you, this will allow you to follow our journey as we grow in business and all my family future endeavors. So here it goes.

Hey everyone, Jacob Sr. here, So I have contemplated a business for quite some time. I have been applying for different jobs and opportunities just looking for something to peak my interest. Well, my spare time like most Americans I spend watching Tiktok’s or Facebook Reels. Over the course of a year I have lingered with the idea of starting a business.

Number 1 The Question: Where do I start.

I’ll tell you, I jumped into a lot of productive video algorithms that just flooded me with a bunch of info from S Corps to just LLC. Motivational speaking videos of just taking the leap. Into tax write offs dos and do nots.

Number 2 The thought/idea

One day I am headed to my parent’s house, trailer packed with mower, blower and trimmer. One of my friends, who always encourages me asked if I started a business yet. I respect his advise and it got me thinking, I have all the stuff, why am I not doing this. I just need a couple things. An LLC for the business and insurance.

Number 3 The Jump

So on May 9th, I took the jump and started calling the major LLC companies. Found one that really worked and they personalized it to fit me. I thought it was great and helpful and I was on cloud Nine. My paperwork came back that day approving my LLC and giving me my Tax ID or EIN. Thus J3 Lawns LLC was created.
